A few things we’re great at
Learn more about the theraputic modalities that we use the most:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy helps us identify patterns of thinking that influence emotions and behaviors. Together, we explore how thoughts, feelings, and actions interact and develop practical strategies to shift unhelpful patterns so you can respond to life with greater clarity and confidence.
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Internal Family Systems understands the mind as made up of different “parts,” each with its own role and intention. Rather than fighting against parts of ourselves, we help clients approach them with curiosity and compassion. This process often leads to deep healing, greater self-understanding, and a stronger sense of inner balance.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
EMDR is a powerful therapy for trauma and distressing life experiences. Using guided bilateral stimulation, we help the brain reprocess memories that may still be influencing the present. As these memories are integrated, they often lose their emotional intensity, allowing clients to move forward with greater freedom and resilience.
Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)
Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy combines therapeutic support with ketamine sessions to help clients access deeper insight and emotional healing. Preparation and integration sessions are essential parts of this process, helping translate meaningful experiences into lasting transformation.
And more of our favorites…
At Be Restored Counseling, we don’t believe in forcing people into a single therapy model.
Instead, we thoughtfully integrate multiple approaches so that therapy fits your story, your nervous system, and your goals. Our work together focuses not only on reducing symptoms, but on helping you build insight, resilience, and a deeper relationship with yourself.
Healing is not about becoming someone different.
It’s about reconnecting with who you truly are.
Below are additional approaches we also value and utilize:
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
ACT focuses on developing psychological flexibility. Instead of trying to eliminate difficult thoughts or emotions, we help clients learn how to make space for them while taking meaningful action toward the life they want to live.
Schema Therapy
Schema therapy explores deep patterns formed earlier in life that continue to influence thoughts, emotions, and relationships. By identifying and working through these patterns, we help clients heal longstanding wounds and develop healthier ways of relating to themselves and others.
Humanistic Therapy
Humanistic therapy is rooted in the belief that each person has an innate capacity for growth and healing. We provide a supportive, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their experiences, strengthen self-trust, and reconnect with their sense of purpose
.
Mindfulness-Based and Somatic Therapy
Mindfulness helps clients develop a more compassionate and aware relationship with their thoughts, emotions, and body. By learning to stay present with experience rather than reacting automatically, many people find greater calm, clarity, and emotional balance.Somatic therapy recognizes that many emotional experiences are stored in the body. By paying attention to physical sensations and nervous system responses, we help clients release stored stress, increase regulation, and develop a deeper sense of safety and connection.
